  Great dinner and very accessible place. The spring bath was amazing. The room was big and clean. Great place to stay had a memorable vacation.

  Kinda basic set up, I enjoyed the flat surface to lie on with the wood head rests. The rocks along the wall give it a nice touch. Two open tubs one with jets. 410yen.

  I enjoyed my experience here. I booked this hotel during Aomori Nebuta festival. It is about an hour away from Aomori by car. The rooms are a good size. There were onsens to enjoy. The breakfast was good.

  old (except cabin, seemed like refomed) but low price, easy to access towada dawntown, good spa (Alkali pH above 9, skin became slipery)

  Not quite an onsen resort, not quite a business hotel, but a sort of hybrid of the two, Hotel Pony Onsen was probably the least expensive (~6800 yen w/two meals) full-service onsen hotel I've ever stayed at. And a nice stay it was. The food was solid, the room and facilities were fine, and the baths were a lot nicer than I expected. It's unfortunately located in a sort of "nowhere" place (there's no scenery, it's not really "on the way" to anywhere, and nothing is nearby except a convenience store), but if you're in the area you could do far worse!
