::This is the most hostile hotel I have stayed over the 40 years of my travel experience I stay in hotel over 200 days a year and I rarely gave bad reviews for hotel but I must give them 1 star for my experience I asked the hotel to help me book train tickets from Asahikawa to Furano as well as the taxi from hotel to the Asahikawa train station, the front desk on duty around 2 pm on 7/21/24 told me NO, just book yourself I did not want to confront him and didn’t even want to ask why, I just walked away The horrific experience actually started at the time of our check in, we were late due to transportation issue so we missed the half board dinner time, I am ok with that since we were late We asked is there anything to eat (around 8:30 pm) the answer is no, we didn’t receive our welcome drink , neither the cake, we asked if there is water for us at the time of check in, the answer is no I can be reached if there is anyone wants to verify what I wrote here This is the hotel I will not stay even I get paid, this is that BAD

::Do not stay here. The service is extremely poor and the facilities are very outdated. The receptionist was very hostile and did not want to answer any questions. The rooms are mediocre, everything is rundown, and the hot springs are extremely dirty. I cannot believe this is a 4-star hotel. Some specific examples are: 1. We arrived late the first day and decided to sleep in. The cleaner started to knock on our door starting at 10:55am. We told them to come back in an hour, but they said they cannot wait. When we checked in, no one told us what time we had to be out by, they just said leave the keys at the front. 2. I had left something extremely valuable in the hotel by accident. when I called or emailed, no one responded. They finally responded 4 days later, and at that point I was in Tokyo and planned to leave the country in 5 days. they told me, in a very hostile manner, that they will not be able to get the item to me by the time I leave. First of all, I’ve used shipping multiple times and it is kind of unbelievable they can’t get the item to me in 5 days. second, this could be easily resolved if they had responded to be in a timely manner. Please think twice if you want to stay here. You will not have a pleasant stay.

::Very nice Hotel, with good service great rooms and amazing baths. The location is very remote which has advantages and disadvantages. The area was very beautiful, staff incredibly friendly and you get many things for free.

::Stayed for 2 nights in winter, it was -10 degrees and we were so grateful for the wonderful onsen. There’s a good mix of public and private, indoor and outdoor. Just few mins walk to the ropeway. Staff were all very polite, professional and always impeccably dressed. First night French dinner was ok, second night Japanese dinner were amazing. Also enjoyed the breakfast spread, and you have to try their signature pudding. Love it! Thank you for an amazing stay :)
