  Great Onsen, two bathing areas with a variety of indoor and outdoor baths. The buffet dinner was great with a nice selection of food.

  This was our first visit to a onsen hotel, what a great introduction for a novice Australian family. We arrived a little late but our son's Japanese wife and parents, who we met for the first time had everything organised, which was fortunate as we had guidance for the onsen etiquette. We had an onsen before dinner and before breakfast, I didn't find it as hot as I had expected. The buffet dinner and breakfast was more than adequate, curry for dinner and breakfast was enjoyed, the package was excellent value.

  Day-trip onsen was expensive at 1,500 during holidays, but was very relaxing! Towels are provided with entry price. During my visit, the womens bath area was set for the 10th floor. Beautiful views with relaxing bath! The water was clear and had no smell, but had minerals added to help relaxation.

  It was a smooth and fast check-in. The waiting lounge was nice and next to restaurant with good views of the summer greenery.My room was small but perfect for a solo traveller. It included a massage chair which was fantastic after soaking in the various onsen available.This hotel is well-known for having over 30 pools to soak in although the temperature was quite hot, especially the ones on the 10th floor. The food for both meals was buffet style. It was alright. Overal, I enjoyed my stay here . The staff were courteous, helpful and friendly.

  Amazing food, room and staff! The onsen/sento are high quality with 20+ baths to choose from. Excellent ryokan. Will definitely be coming back.
