::Absolutely wonderful, great location, straight to the train station and bus terminal, direct ride to the airport, all just a 3-min walk away! Rooms are spacious and breakfast to die for! The staff are very kind and helpful, we loved the entire stay at the hotel.

::Hotel Granvia Okayama is an excellent choice for travelers. The location is perfect, directly connected to JR Okayama Station and close to AEON Mall and many eateries. The rooms are clean and comfortable, equipped with modern amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful.

::The economy rooms are small (tiny), but comfortable. The staff are helpful and very nice. We did not partake in any of the restaurants or breakfast. I was a little disappointed that the pool costs money to use.

::This is my first time in Okayama and i had the good fortune of staying in Hotel Granvia Okayama and so many good things to say about the hotel. From my arrival, the reception was impeccable and the staff welcomed you with a smile. They processed my booking promptly and one of them even assisted me to the elevator to ensure that i was not lost. The room was a decent size and very comfortable. The temperature was just nice, the comforter fluffy and warm and it’s so clean. They have detailed instructions on everything. You can chromecast and youtube on the television! They even have a personal air purifier in the room. Their teacup is awesome. This hotel uses Okayama’s famous bizen pottery for their teacups. Brewing tea inside will taste different, please try it! The staff made sure to turn over all items well and replace every single item in the bathrooms. They also cleaned up everything thoroughly, i felt bad because i keep dropping hair but the next day, i couldn’t see the hair. They also have drip coffee packs and ito-en tea bags in your room. The staff are all super helpful. Every time you enter and exit the hotel, there will be a staff on hand to assist you if needed. I had a little problem in my room and without asking , the staff immediately came and checked and even though they could not detect anything, they asked me if i wanted to switch rooms. They just wanted it to be comfortable for me. I appreciate this. The service and the room made me so reluctant to return home! Now the location… this hotel is located near to Okayama station, a good point for your day trips and there’s a Lawson convenient store and a huge Aeon shopping centre nearby to facilitate your shopping needs. High end shopping centre like Takashimaya and cheap bargain shop like Donki is also within walking distance. I will certainly return to this hotel when i come to Okayama next time!

::This is my favorite hotel in Japan (I've stayed at around 8 of them) and one of my top 10 in the world. The room I stayed in was a three-bed room, and the price was very fair. The bathroom was *amazing*. Mine had a shower room, with a tub and shower in one room and other features separate--toilet in a water closet and sink in an enclave with retractable walls. My kid loved being able to splash as much as he wanted, with the whole tub room being water-safe--going home might be a problem! Having raved about the bathroom, please note that not all bathrooms were like this. We had four rooms in our party, and the other three rooms had a standard bath (sink/toilet/shower in one room). So look carefully at the pictures when selecting your room. They have a lot of room options, as far as number of beds/etc. They did provide a crib for the 3YO in our party, but it was a bit squeaky when he moved around. The location is great. It's nearby a huge mall and there's a second-floor connecting bridge to the train station, which has a food court and shopping as well. There's a restaurant that serves Wagyu beef dishes (among other things) at the end of the food court nearest the hotel (highly recommend!), a Starbucks nearby, and a McDonald's down the escalator from that if you're craving an American breakfast. I did not have a chance to eat at the hotel restaurants. They said they were booked, but I suspect they just didn't want kids (we had more than one in our party) and didn't want to say so. Many things in Japan are kid-friendly, but there are definitely a few things that aren't. Speaking of, they did have a cute toiletry "goody bag" for the kiddos upon checking in: toothbrush, slippers, etc., which is semi-standard in Japan. Really, such a great experience. The only complaint I have at all is the bed is *very* firm (after a couple nights, my "bad" hip was aching), but this seems to be pretty standard in Japan. Oh, I do not think they had an onsen (could be wrong), and another guest told me the pool is age 12 and up. So I was glad to have the tub-room! Also, limited check in is an option (that I didn't understand), where you can't check in until 6 pm and must check out by 9 am. I didn't know and booked one of the rooms with that policy. They were pretty nice about it and let us keep things in the room after 9 am on check out day. (We checked in right around 5:50, so the check in time wasn't a problem.)
