  Very nice hotel, if a bit dated. The restaurant has wonderful teishoku (set meals). It's also very close to the port if you are headed to Yakushima. The front desk was kind enough to call a cab for us the morning we checked out, it was only a few minutes drive from there.

  Stayed in Japanese style room. If you are not used to small hard pillows filled.with beads, bring your own. Not a fan of the wooden tub, more of a sanitary thing on my end. Not sure how clean you can get the wood plus it never really dries.

  Very nice hotel with attentive and polite staff. We had half board and the traditional Japanese dinner was of high quality. Breakfast food was limited but sufficient. The onsen was good and has all necessities. The car park in front of the hotel was very small but the hotel provided valet service which was very much appreciated. Location was very convenient and only a short walk to the shopping street. WiFi in the room was very poor even though it’s acceptable in the lobby and dining area.

  Not a new hotel, but lovely spacious rooms. Close enough proximity to shopping arcades.

  Good room, spa and sauna. Central.
