The staff are professional and very helpful. The rooms are average but nice. Absolutely no complaints, and I definitely plan on going again next year.

Liked the view and size of the room, just a little too humid ( because of the weather) However the onsen was really perfect, 10/10, have to do it again, it was very meditating!! And they sell some nice and sweet grapes from local farmers!😋 their dinner is also very nice too!! (Recommended the sashimi and crab leg)

We didn't stay at the hotel but just visited it for the public onsen... And WOW!! The most amazing view of any onsen in Hakuba (believe us we tried 7!) For a good price, very clean and aesthetically designed stone pool, able to stand naked in the snow or rain. Also has $1 massage chairs. Only downside is a long walk to get here and no other way unless your staying at this hotel. Well worth the hike on an off-ski day!

The service of Hakuba highland hotel was highly recommended. We received warm service from on Jan.15 2024. They did their best to arrange our pick up service to station when there was no available taxies in the early morning. We appreciated it a lot , especially under cold and snowy weather. Thanks a lot for ❤️Masahiko Kakeya ❤️Saki Yanagisawa assistance. Henry&Gloria

This was a great place to relax, the staff were welcoming and always attentive to our needs. The onsen was roomy and relaxing while we stayed there (in the off season). The food was really good if you like traditional Japanese food they had a really good selection of foods and if you wanted more western foods they also had a selection to choose from. Also the dining hall had some amazing views in both the morning and evening!! It took us around 20min to reach the mountains so it was very accessible for traveling.
