::The view of the hotel is absolutely gorgeous but the facility is lack of maintenance. Each area has its different funky smells… the elevator and toilet are the worst. There are molds in bath tub and it just simply needs proper cleaning. Don’t even mention about the carpet, it just gross me up… Breakfast is disappointing as well, and I had the worst wine I ever had in my life in the dining. Attached pictures said it all.

::The views and service and rooms are 5 star. the only issue is it's isolated so there is not much choose for dinning. Really enjoyed the rotenburo views of gardens and ponds. Morning breakfast is a little disappointing as one huge hall. There is a pickup bus service to and from station. Overall very relaxing and I would come here again 😊

::Thank you for being such wonderful hosts. This is a great hotel located in a beautiful area. The best feature, though, is the amazing staff who are kind, professional, and made us feel very welcome during our stay. I highly recommend this location to other travelers looking to spend a few quiet days in an area of natural beauty with great people.

::A drop-dead gorgeous view that overlooks the hot springs. A room that exudes of luxury and free laundry. As far as hotels go, it's superb. So why the low review? Simple. Aside from the few hotel staff that were friendly and really, quite accomodating. There was exception of the single, most rude hotel staff I've met in Japan. He simply could not care less about the customer. I can understand some Japanese but not great at it. This staff, rather than trying to help, simply pointed on the pieces of paper, and repeated aggressively 'Do you understand? DO YOU UNDERSTAND?' And so I asked, 'Can you read it for me? My Japanese isn't that good.' and he repeated, 'Do you understand?' When he called on the phone to arrange for my room, no one responded and so he slammed the phone down on the receiver in annoyance. When I asked him questions, he simply said in a mildly loud voice 'Please wait for a while' and never answered me. The guy didn't even bother providing information about the amenities of the hotel. I had to ask him, and he'd respond with visible frustration. Really- if it wasn't for this one, completely infuriating experience, it would have been a great hotel. Because it really is a good hotel with mostly great staff. If only it wasn't for this one person that 'greeted' me near midnight.

::Amazing hot spring experience you see the beautiful pond in front of you. Room is resort like and a real coffee machine has provided. The light in the room could adjust in according to your feeling and mood. Room size is sufficiently, not like Japanese business hotel room was a bit tiny. It is better to stay at least two nights because national park is just beside. You could play golf which just next to hotel. A little pricy of meal but room rate to me was fair due to weekday.
