  We tried it because Doutor coffee shops were everywhere in Tokyo. We love its coffee and pancake cake. It was a good treat coming from a long walk along Takeshita Street and Harajuku itself. It surprised us though that the shop allows smoking even if it is enclosed and quite a small place. We all know this isn’t good for the health.

  The Harajuku location is an extremely busy one with two floors constantly filled. The turnover, however is quick so you will eventually get a table. The desserts and coffees are delicious and in par with Starbucks. They have a small restroom on the second floor and there is usually a line. The food selection is good with sandwiches and the like. Not bad. Oh they have outlets to charge your phones and stuff.

  Great service and valued coffee. Always packed but isn't noisy. Place to take a break after a long walk.
