::We tried it because Doutor coffee shops were everywhere in Tokyo. We love its coffee and pancake cake. It was a good treat coming from a long walk along Takeshita Street and Harajuku itself. It surprised us though that the shop allows smoking even if it is enclosed and quite a small place. We all know this isn’t good for the health.

::The Harajuku location is an extremely busy one with two floors constantly filled. The turnover, however is quick so you will eventually get a table. The desserts and coffees are delicious and in par with Starbucks. They have a small restroom on the second floor and there is usually a line. The food selection is good with sandwiches and the like. Not bad. Oh they have outlets to charge your phones and stuff.
