::got the obligatory gold leaf japanese pancakes and they satisfied only visual expectations. the food itself is unbelievably mid, but this is to be expected lol it’s gold leaf. if you’re here because you acknowledge it’s a gimmick, then by all means go for it. but if you’re here expecting to have the pancake equivalent of a climax you’ll be disappointed.

::This is one of the best comfort cafe that you need to visit, not so far from Higashi-Chaya. We served warm pancakes and the serving time was quite fast. The price is well worth the vibes and the taste.

::Wanted Japanese fluffy pancakes and Cafe Tamon delivered!! Location is super convenient if you’re visiting higashi Chaya. The place is cute and the pancakes are amazing! They serve breakfast from 8-10 and lunch after 11. They still have pancakes for lunch but they’re a little different. Kinda weird for a place like this but it’s cash only so go prepared!

::The rice pancakes were delicious. Both salty and sweet version. It had a flavor that I tried for the first time. Upstairs you can sit on the floor in a traditional Japanese way.

::The fluffiest pancake buddies i have ever eaten. If yer in the Higashi Chaya district, don’t sleep on this pancake treat. Get the local Kanaazawa Watermelon cider, too. The take out sandwiches also look good so if yer just grabbijg and going, here’s an alternative to family mart.
