::We went around 1.45 while the restaurant closes at 2.30PM . The waiter was very very very rude . He was very arrogant to my 80 year old grandfather ,said 2 is last order and 2.30 restaurant closes even before we sat in a very loud and rude tone . The restaurant waiter felt very very unwelcoming so we left , cuz you don’t eat where people insult you and this kind of behaviour is not something you expect in Japan . But he was a fellow Indian , and I think didn’t want us to eat there .

::I always like to flag up restaurants and eating places that offer decent vegetarian options wherever I go. This place I thought was excellent. I had the spicy veggie curry and my partner went with the bean Dahl. Both were excellent. For me the best part was the naan breads. They were huge, but light and tasted very fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and would definitely recommend. They do takeouts as well.

::During our recent visit to Hakone, we had the pleasure of dining at AZURE MOON, an authentic Indian restaurant that left a lasting impression on us. We ordered Chicken Curry, Daal, Naan, and Mango Lassi. Each dish was a delightful experience in itself. The Naan was super tasty and honestly the best I've ever had! Soft, crispy, and perfectly cooked. The Mango Lassi was equally outstanding, refreshing and rich with the perfect balance of sweetness. It's a must-try for anyone visiting the restaurant. The Daal was delicious, full of flavor, and comforting, making it a perfect companion to the Naan. Lastly, the Chicken Curry was flavorful and well-spiced, making it a satisfying and hearty choice. Overall, this Indian restaurant in Hakone is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic and delicious Indian cuisine. The flavors, quality of ingredients, and overall dining experience were top-notch. We can't wait to return and indulge in more of their mouthwatering dishes!

::Excellent Indian food. Family of 5 dining. 3 adults and a 16 and 13 year old. We had the Butter Chicken and Spicy Chicken(was similar to a Balti, hot but not too hot) Both main dishes were very good. We also had 4 massive naans, 3 plain and 1 garlic. Possibly the best naan I’ve had anywhere. We ordered another butter chicken to go with the nan’s. Don’t order the Saffron rice. It was more like Japanese sticky rice. Probably ok if you like that but it wasn’t for us. The rice didn’t spoil our meal. It was still very good. If you’re in the area and a fan of Indian food you should definitely give this place a try. We might be back tomorrow for their lunch special 😂
