Disappointing food. We ordered the lobster in miso soup it was just OK, but the accompanying dishes weren't good and one didn't feel fresh. The interior looks a bit tired. Certainly the worst meal we had on a trip around Kyushu.

For the price (4000ish, where average in Japan is 2000ish), the food and service is very mediocre. Nothing stand out, the fried prawn is bland, no difference to a simple home fried. Steam egg is sweet. And the rest is just very ordinary food. Not justify the above average price. No water were served when we set down.

A place where we were served fresh and delicious food, but left unpleasant memories. I made a reservation and visited for dinner on a weekday in January. It is one of the most famous restaurants not only in Aoshima but also in all of Miyazaki. I heard that reservations are required, but there were quite a few empty seats on a winter weekday evening. A seafood restaurant specializing in spiny lobster. As expected from a famous restaurant, the aquarium contains a large amount of expensive spiny lobsters. Because it is a popular restaurant, the freshness of the ingredients, which is a very important factor in seafood restaurants, is guaranteed. When making a reservation, my nationality was asked several times. When ordering, my nationality was also asked and a menu in Korean was brought to me. Two couples visited, and according to the Korean menu, they ordered spiny lobster (Ise Ebi) set meal for two, Kaisendon, and sea urchin rice bowl (Unidon). All of the food was excellent and we paid the bill after eating deliciously. The problem is that I checked the bill at the restaurant I went to get dessert and noticed that there was a difference of 4,000 yen from the price on the menu, so I checked the details in detail. Ise Ebi set, which was listed as 9,900 yen on the Korean menu, was calculated as 11,000 Yen, and Unidon, which was 3,800 Yen, was calculated as 5,800 Yen. I felt very uncomfortable, and on my way back to my accommodation, I stopped by a restaurant and inquired, and was given an absurd explanation that the prices on the Korean menu were the prices before the increase. Of course, I received no explanation at the time of ordering and ordered based on the price on the menu. Fortunately, the worst situation was avoided as the owner acknowledged the store's mistake and refunded 4,000 Yen. However, since it is a restaurant visited by quite a lot of Koreans, I thought that there would be other people who went through the same situation as our group, and if they did not memorize the prices as carefully as I did who had to settle expenses jointly saved by two couples, they would not be aware of the price difference between the two menus and ended up paying. I had the unpleasant thought that I might have paid. I don't think such a famous restaurant intentionally cheated on the price. If that had been the case, I don't think they would have refunded the difference when we visited again to inquire. However, even if it is a mistake, it can be very unpleasant for customers and I think it is better to prepare countermeasures as soon as possible. It will be remembered as a disappointing place that ruined the good mood after a delicious meal.

Super Delicious food!We do recommend people enjoying dinner over there! We still remember delicious food we ate in Easter. Price is reasonable. Food is fresh. Food portion is big. Loster combo meal is valuable. We will visit again when we travel in Miyazaki in the future.

This is a great place to eat some local food. Quality is very good, portions are large and can easily be shared with a group. They have an English menu as well. They do not accept credit cards so be prepared with cash. The most expensive dish is over ¥10,000 so make sure to bring pretty of cash if you have a large group. The Tempura Udon was a highlight and the Lettuce Maki was also very good.
