  Most of my errands involve using ATMs, but since there are a large number of ATMs, I don't feel pressured from behind when processing a large number of transactions, so I can do it comfortably, and the turnover rate is good, so I don't have to wait too long. I have never had any unpleasant experiences with the counter staff.

  I was treated like a criminal just by asking about opening an account, and after I went through all the joining procedures, I was turned around and ended up with one point where they wouldn't allow me to open an account. The overall attitude is also very unsatisfactory. If you can't do it, please let me know first. They don't seem to know how hard it is to carve out two hours during the day on weekdays. It was a rural attitude with little competition. I will never use it again no matter what.

  I transferred over 1 million yen to buy a car. I was worried as I had no experience with bank transfers at a counter, but they kindly and carefully explained the process.

  I just wanted to confirm the documents and ask about the required documents regarding receiving my pension, but I was told that I would be referred to a labor consultant. Other banks seem to be kind and courteous, and will even send documents to you. Even though I'm doing all the things like deposits and bank transfers, they're so unfriendly. We would like to have dedicated staff permanently stationed.

  A nearby Joyo Bank branch was closed and a Joyo Bank ATM was installed. If you live nearby and have a Joyo Bank account, this is the place to go.
