This is my first visit to the store. It was introduced on TV as a popular non-tonkotsu ramen restaurant in Kitakyushu. The location is on the second floor of a building in Uomachi Gintengai. Meal ticket system, cash only, various payments cannot be used. I had miso and my husband had Chinese noodles. From the looks of it, it's a classy ramen. The taste is not too strong or too weak, it's just delicious. It was neither good nor bad, and I thought there would be no repeats. On the way back, the stairs are steep, so be careful going down.

Fujiou visited during Chuseok in 2019. Last week, while walking down this street with my girlfriend, I realized that I haven't been posting here. The records written in the Ramen Notebook are still the same, but there are almost 400 posts that I haven't been able to post... I really don't want to do YouTube, write a book, post, or post on Instagram. I feel like I'll end my life just doing ramen and social media. Anyway, let’s upload diligently! The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor. In Kitakyushu, tonkotsu ramen is the mainstay, but they also sell Chuka soba based on shoyu soup, which is rare. Really rare!! Shioe even smiles? Geodida Tsukemen. This is basically a food ticket vending machine from the Kanto region. I ordered the basic shoyu chuka soba. The store manager here seems to really like jazz. If you look at the fact that there is even a poster of the performance, something is clear! What really happened in 2013? Even in the Michelin Guide? What does it actually taste like? Typical shoyu ramen! The bowl looks like it might contain some type of tonkotsu ramen, but it is definitely Chuka Soba. In the soup, the subtle soy sauce flavor goes well with the Dobutsu soup. Torigara-based soup is unique in that it has a slightly savory taste. The salinity is light, and the level of satisfaction is acceptable. A medium-thick chijiremen of just under 30 centimeters. These curly noodles are definitely chewy, but they don't go well with the soup. It lacks a bit of individuality, but even this aspect is precious in Kokura. The char siu, which had a slight meaty smell, was drier than expected. It's good to eat with soup, and has a delicious, soft texture and aroma. Menma is cut into small pieces from the original rectangular shape, and I am very satisfied. Menma is a good restaurant, really!? Although this Chuka Sobaya is a little disappointing by my standards as I have now turned my attention to the whole country, I would like to highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy shoyu ramen in Kitakyushu and not too salty shoyu ramen. - Travel writer. - Book: I came here to eat ramen - Instagram @ SOULSUNGI - YOUTUBE @ SOULSUNGI - LINE id: soulsungi

The taste has become unstable since last year... I mainly eat Chinese noodles and Tsukemen (cold). Chinese noodles vary in the thickness of the soup and the amount of chicken oil. The noodles were hard boiled and hard. When it's really bad, the slime doesn't come off and the texture is slimy... The same goes for the tsukemen soup, which varies in strength and can be salty at times. Also, the noodles were not boiled properly. Even when the plate is soaked with water due to insufficient draining after rinsing with cold water... Even when I ordered the soup, it was still warm and tasted noticeably salty... The chashu is also dryer than before, and the flavored eggs aren't cooked properly. When it goes up, it still seems delicious, but Lately, things have been going downhill, so it's no longer a restaurant I want to eat at.

Had tsukumen. Nice flavour and size. The soup isn't so thick as normal tsukmen but it is full of flavour. More fresh fruity flavour than meaty flavour. Was nice. Meat wasn't bad.
