::Just looking back at the pics made me recall how delicious and mouth watering the unagi were! The restaurant comprises of 3 storeys and the waitress wore kimono (so nice!). We were asked to remove our shoes before entering the dining area. They have an Eng menu and we ordered a deluxe kabayaki for sharing which costs 5400yen. Gosh the unagi is super delicious! Also ordered clear soup (instead of the common miso soup) which is a soup with boiled eel liver, this was nice too! Tried the braised eel, shigureni but it was only so so.

::I visited here once before the pandemic. As soon as I checked in the hotel, I rushed here and made it in right before they took their last order. Food was still tasty, eel was grilled just right with the right amount of dressing. However, I asked for more tea and got acknowledged. By the time I left, I didn’t get my tea refill..

::I arrived 15 minutes before 10:30am. Tourists already lined up waiting. Took a number at the second floor. The ticket showed no. 15 and expected waiting time 45 minutes. So I walked to the nearby Kushida Shrine and spent 30 minutes there. After I went back to the restaurant, my number had been past due. The waitress was very friendly and arranged a table for me right away. People said this old restaurant is the best in Fukuoka for eel rice. After eating there, I think it deserved its fame. Grilled eel was crispy outside and juicy inside, very tasty. The sauce was perfect with rice. I also tried rolled omelette, grilled eel liver, and eel bones, but they were less impressive, maybe overshadowed by the great eel rice.

::Such an impressive unagi meal that I had to review mid eating before I lost my inspiration. I felt that all the unagi kabayaki I ate in my life were lazy. In this restaurant, the unagi is selected properly, the fish is grilled to perfection. The saucing is not over done. Simply the best. We also have carp sashimi. Tho personally I prefer tuna, but the sashimi is very fresh and there is no smell. Totally excellent food. Will recommend everybody to try at least once in their life. This has ruined all Indonesian restaurant unagi kabayaki, and I Will never eat frozen unagi anymore

::My great experience of Unagi dish here. I can't guess that how they create unagi menu like this. And also taste is very good. My dad told me that his friend have to fly from Osaka to eat this restaurant. Confirm and Suggest Full set!!!
