  Yoronotaki is located 20 seconds from Nakagawara Station. There used to be a lot of them, but these days there are fewer of them, and the ones that remain are delicious and the key is to be local. This is also a community-based store. It had a Showa era atmosphere. (Smoking was allowed at the table.)

  I popped in with a local. As of February 2021, drunk customers are smoking inside the store, and there are ashtrays on each table. It's amazing in a way. It's a rare spot for smokers. Perhaps they allowed smoking after being pestered by regular customers, but I guess female customers and young people don't come. Most of the seats were occupied, but it was a big gathering of blue-collar old men. Well, I guess so. Yoro no Taki has been around for a long time, and the restaurant, menu, and customers all have a sense of tradition. There's no time service, so I can't help but feel it's expensive. We had a few drinks and a few snacks for just under 2,000 yen per person, which I thought would have been normal in the past. The restaurant was run by two people who looked like an elderly couple, so I drank while wishing them well. Izakaya where Shishamoto and Stingray Fin look good🏮 It's close to the station, so if you're into Showa-era izakayas, it's a good choice.

  I went to Tsuboya, Shoya, Yoronotaki, and Showa Yoronotaki, and I feel nostalgic.
