  A lovely and peaceful farm, great for a one-night stop. The host was very hospitable and tended to all our needs. Do not expect a luxurious 5-star hotel sort of room. Room is small but cosy. The lamb stew and potage soup served at dinner were excellent. Highlight was the shepherd experience, featuring their resident sheepdog who did a great job rounding up the cute sheep. Overall a fun and relaxing experience.

  My husband and I had a very lovely stay at Yorkshire Farm! We had the deluxe package with dinner and breakfast (both were delicious and very filling). Room was clean and quiet. The host was extremely nice and welcoming (her English was helpful). The sheep are super cute and calm. They provide rubber boots to protect the sheep and yourself from diseases (and mud). Beautiful scenery and a cute gift shop. We purchased a handmade sheep figurine, handmade sheep mobile, and a hand knitted, wool hat made from the sheep’s wool. We also visited the Chapel on the Water the night of our stay. It is only a 30-40 minutes I’ve away and a fun visit! Highly recommend Yorkshire Farm as an introduction to a part of Hokkaido!

  Lovely sheep farm and stay. Very nice owner lady and her mother-in-law. the owner herself managed everything from cleaning, cooking to booking. we booked treble rooms half board in June. ensuite bathroom. room not big. very quiet and tranquil. Dinner was a choice of 14 months mutton stew or steak. I decided to have the stew which was so heavenly tender. There were no other guests that day so we had the dining hall to ourselves. Breakfast was at 8 the next morning and at nine we went for the sheep feeding and sheep dog watching at 30000 yen. We enjoyed the whole experience very much and took lots of pictures. Overall, very good value when compared to the Hoshino resort which we stayed one day earlier.

  Unexpected outcome. It was rated far below what it should be in other hotel website Great place. I booked bed and breakfast and dinner. It’s not too expensive if we add all together for two person. Nice services by staff who’s English is extremely good. Well done. Food is high quality from their own farm and sheep. .... the Lambs The room is small but comfortable. Don’t expect or compare to luxury hotel resort with this farm house. Worth to stay a night and experience their farm and walk around their farm interact with their animals and pick your tomatoes and other food to eat instantly I just love this place.

  We arrived on 26th Dec '16 at Shintoku but could not find any available taxi. Called the Yorkshire Farm and the lady boss was so kind and personally fetched us from the bus point. The Yorkshire Farm has a very comfortable farm ambience and we most impressed by the friendliness of the lady boss, her mother and daughter who are very warm, helpful and friendly. She even fetched us to the Ski Resort which was just a 5 minute distance, to and fro despite her busy schedules. The sheep steak and seafood spaghetti dinner was wonderful with a bottle of their red wine which was not pricey at a very reasonable price. The restaurant ambience was just fantastic. The breakfast was also magnificent. The room was very clean and the country farm setting was so homely. The lady boss and her daughter chatted with us and even advised us on a train return trip instead of a bus route which saved us nearly 2 hours to our next itinerary. She helped plan our train departing schedule to suit our plan and booking a taxi for us too. Unfortunately we stayed only one night but would surely make a repetitive return trip in the near future. We would also strongly recommend to our friends to the Yorkshire Farm.
