::I wonder if the restaurant got its name from the restaurant where many people order at night on the Galaxy Express. For better or worse, Hanamaki is still being eaten by Kenji Miyazawa. Well, I had the wildcat gozen. It's pricey, but you'll be satisfied with the tempura-style pork, simmered pork, apples, and oranges. Well, it was delicious. What's noteworthy is that you can use cards and watermelons at the souvenir shop below.

::Ginga Plaza Yamanekoken is a restaurant that is a 2-minute walk from Shin-Hanamaki Station on the JR Shinkansen and Kamaishi Lines. This store has been around for a long time, but I don't know much about how it was founded. The first floor is open for souvenir sales, and the second floor is open as a restaurant. I use it occasionally when transferring from the Shinkansen to the Kamaishi Line, but this is my first time reviewing it. I visited in the middle of Obon. I decided to take this train because it happened to be typhoon season and I didn't have a good idea of when the next train would be. There are large boxes inside the store, so I didn't have to wait to go inside. I ordered iced coffee. The taste is neither good nor bad. However, I was able to spend a comfortable time as I was able to enjoy tea in a quiet atmosphere.

::Weekday lunch in August 2024 I arrived at Shin-Hanamaki Station on the Tohoku Shinkansen at 11:44am and looked for somewhere to have lunch, but there were almost no options. It is no exaggeration to say that this is your only choice. So, I chose this side of the second floor and visited. Enter the store and sit at the table. Water is self-serve. There are still about 3 groups vacant. I was also attracted to udon and soba noodles, but when I saw the description of Shirokane pork, this was the one! I went for the Shirokane pork cutlet bowl set for 1200 yen. While we were waiting, 12 o'clock passed, and customers surprisingly started coming in one after another. It's a popular store. It's all the local people. There is no choice after all, no, no, this place is just that good! Is that what you mean? It will be provided if you wait for a while. Katsudon, cutlet is thin. Although it is called Shirokane pork, I couldn't really feel the taste, flavor, and white meat of the pork. I would have been more satisfied if the meat had been made a little thicker so I could enjoy the natural flavor of the lean and white pork. The soba noodles are regular half noodles. ::Yamanekoken Station Store in Shin-Hanamaki A coffee shop in Shin-Hanamaki ．． [Kenji set]: 1200 yen ．． I visited this restaurant for lunch when I went on a factory tour of a client in the meat wholesale business, which is my main business. February 24. I visited the store around 10:30 a.m. on a Tuesday, and there were about 4 customers in the store. ．． ・Kenji set A menu related to Kenji Miyazawa that includes tempura soba and Mitsuya cider. This set was created based on an anecdote about Kenji Miyazawa, who when he was a teacher, treated his students with tempura soba and Mitsuya cider, an expensive meal at the time. Tempura soba is a warm soba dish with two large pieces of shrimp tempura that overflow from the bowl, and is served in a simple form with kamaboko and spinach as other toppings. The tempura was very satisfying with a crispy coating and firm shrimp inside, and it was delicious when dipped in the soba soup. The soba itself is a very common type of kake soba, and the chewy texture and gentle flavor of the soup stock are irresistible. I thought the combination of soba noodles and Mitsuya cider was rather strange, but since it recreated an anecdote from over 90 years ago, I thought it was a set full of emotion and interest. Masu! ．． The store is located just a short walk from Shin-Hanamaki Station on the Tohoku Shinkansen. The store is located on the second floor of a large building that can be seen diagonally to the left as soon as you get off the station. This restaurant is named after the Yamanekoken that appears in Kenji Miyazawa's fairy tale, "The Restaurant of Many Orders," and is a restaurant inside the facility that was created with the motif of "Galaxy Station." It seems that The interior of the store is very spacious and clean with bright colors. The seating consists of many tables that seat 4 to 10 people, with a total of over 100 seats. The customer base is local regulars/those waiting for the Shinkansen at Shin-Hanamaki, and I think it's a good idea to kill time here, especially since there are no shops to kill time at the Shinkansen terminal. The first floor also sells souvenirs and is designed to be enjoyed as one facility, so I think it's a nice store to stop by when you're in Shin-Hanamaki.
