  I stopped by on my way home from going to a nearby aquarium because it looked interesting. Both the hot and cold types of baked sweet potatoes were delicious. There were several seats inside the store and on the terrace, so we used it for eat-in. The types of potatoes seem to change as the season changes, so you can enjoy them every season. Card payment was not possible.

  Not only the variety of roasted sweet potatoes but also the number of menu items is amazing lol Baked sweet potato tart, baked sweet potato parfait, baked sweet potato steak... The sweet potato ice cream was delicious! Adding milkiness makes it even more mellow and sweet♡ However, I was disappointed that the regular baked sweet potato was lukewarm.

  During lunch time, I went to [Yakiimo Maru Jun] in Hekinan City, Aichi Prefecture, which was selected as one of Tabelog's 100 Famous Japanese Sweets Shops in East2023. Currently, it has a high Tabelog rating of 3.54, and is said to be the birthplace of chilled baked sweet potatoes. This store specializing in roasted sweet potatoes is probably one of the rarest in Japan. At the entrance to the store, there are the words ``Yakiimo World,'' and when you enter, you'll see an explanation of ``Yakiimo World,'' which is helpful for beginners, as well as today's ``Yakiimo'', divided into sticky and soft types. Since I was looking for lunch, I went to the cafe space inside the store. The roasted sweet potato menu has a variety of options, including hamburgers, quiches, tarts, steaks, soups, and ice creams. Ordered a totally unimaginable grilled sweet potato steak for lunch❗ Right now, you can get a 50% off baked sweet potato lunch. 1,060 yen includes grilled sweet potato steak, salad, sweet and salty sweet potatoes, gyuhi crepe ice cream, and a drink❗ It's a good deal. It took quite a while for the food to be served, but the grilled sweet potato steak was served for the first time❗ A roasted sweet potato with the scent of butter lingers on a hot iron plate that makes a sizzling sound. The roasted sweet potato used for this steak was said to be Beniharuka, and the flesh was tender and the skin was crispy. I ate it alternately with the most popular sticky fried sweet potato ``Amajoppa Potato'' that came with the set, but since I'm not used to eating baked sweet potatoes, I got a little tired of it lol. However, for those who love roasted sweet potatoes, this is definitely an irresistible set. Gyuhi crepe ice cream is similar to that Yukimi Daifuku.
