  Typical Japanese Onsen. One bath is just 38 degrees . You can stay long time. All in wood. Nice

  I stayed here. The facilities are old but clean and well maintained. The bath has two different hot springs. Lukewarm and hot. The water is soft sulfide hot spring. The food is great. There are many nice local sake available for dinner time. Very quiet place with the sound of the stream and insects except annoying sound of crazy speed maniac driving stupid cars near the hotel at night.

  Thanks to a recommendation we came here randomly. The onsen is rustic and has a authentic feel to it. The lady who helped us was very friendly and even understood and spoke a few words in English. As I was alone at the beginning of my stay I managed a snapshot of the empty bathing area. Beautiful and well taken care of, we had a wonderful quiet stay.

  Felt like taking an onsen at the top of the world. The ryokan itself looks like a series of black sheds but inside it is really nice. Our room was spacious and nice, the baths were great. Recommended! Keep an eye out for the Japanese martens, at night they were everywhere and lots of photographers came for the purpose of capturing one on image.
