It's a wonderful hot spring. Hot spring lovers should definitely visit at least once, as the water is flowing straight from the source. 500 liters per minute is not just an excuse, and the hot water is overflowing. I will never forget the shock I felt when I stayed there for the first time. I heard that this wonderful hot spring inn was in danger of going out of business, so I rushed to stay there last year, but the new owner came and I was able to stay there without meals, but I was told that the business had resumed, so I stayed there for two nights this time. I've been doing it. The new owner is running the inn with his son. I was able to take over the business from a wonderful person who is truly hospitable. It may not be suitable for some people who are concerned about details such as the age of the building, but the rooms are kept clean and you can enjoy the wonderful experience of staying there. If you think about how many times you take a bath, I think people who like hot springs and hot spring enthusiasts can probably forgive themselves. Since it is run by two people, I hope time allows, but this time they provided a shuttle to Ikarigaseki. Also, I stayed for 2 nights this time assuming there was no Wi-Fi as I had previously, but I was able to use Wi-Fi (for a fee), so I would like to try a long-term hot spring treatment next time. There is a microwave and toaster for meals, and we also have packaged rice and pizza available, so I didn't have any problems even though I was staying without meals. Since they are considering rebuilding the property in the future, I thought it would be a good idea to offer a more generous rate for a room without meals.

It's a secret hot spring. The road is so narrow that cars cannot pass each other. The building is not new and is quite old. The service is also not good for leisure. However, hot springs are the best! My skin feels moisturized the next day! My daughter's skin is sensitive and I went there hoping it would get better. That's correct! As someone who was born in the Showa era, I like the nostalgic atmosphere.

day trip Water available (tap water) Shampoo available Hair dryer available I visited around 7:30 p.m., but they were open until late, which was helpful. Four hundred yen. Apparently it's the best hot spring in Japan? Good spring quality. The hot, but overflowing hot spring bath is the best. I want to go again.

Excellent hot spring. Inflow of hot spring is huge. The water is brown cloudy with a smell of iron. Salty and bitter. The only sad thing is that the lobby is filled with cigarette smoke.

This small onsen is apparently one of the top 100 in Japan. It's super traditional and beautiful in its honest buildings and lack of pretension - see photos. A true Japanese treasure with iron/calcium? rich cloudy water that does to your skin what that 5000 yen cleanser toner combination will never achieve. Invest 500 yen for adults and 200 yen for the kids for memories you will treasure and bring you back some day. Don't be put off by the small road. Go under the green spans of the motorway and continue on up till you see the small buildings on the left. Best travelled in daylight hours. Gaijin friendly and the proprietor even gave the noisy kids some watermelon. Japanese hospitality at its best.
