  It was a semi-self checkout. This is the type where the clerk reads the barcode and the machine pays the bill. I forgot my Maruki card at that time. I went to pick it up the next day, but since the card had just been changed and I didn't have my name on it, I couldn't get it back right away. Since it has become Rakuten, it is not possible to verify the identity. I was able to get it back after checking the shopping receipt, but I have to write my name on the card immediately 😊

  I go to many Maruki stores, but the prices vary depending on the store. This is the only place with self-checkout! now

  There are no supermarkets around, so I think the neighbors will be helpful. There is also a corner where you can drink hot spring water for free. Personally, I like Maruki in Higashikinami, but I would like to see the Kusunoki store do well as well.

  I stopped by for the first time on my way back from Yamaguchi City. I went there around 1pm, but the bento items I was looking for were out of stock. I stopped by a store in Ouchi in the morning, but I felt like the whole side dish section was thin compared to there. By the way, this store has an outside toilet. Although it was Saturday, the parking lot was easy to enter and exit, and was spacious and easy to park. I bought minced chicken bento and rare cheese pudding, and both were delicious.
