::Its pose is difficulty while we were driving a car. We come back to hotel late at night, there is no direct entry to the hotel, we can’t drive our car right straight to the hotel, the gate is closed. We were told to drive back to Huis Ten Bosch parking lot, then take our luggage, call the hotel to get a shuttle. The road was very dark, we drive and find the carpark which really post us difficultly. The hotel is not recommended for those who drive. The aim to drive is for convenience but it’s not rally at all. Please double check with the hotel where to park if you really want to stay here and if you are driving.

::they changed the name from watermark hotel to hotel den haag as of 26 Oct 2023 so please take when taking the bus from Huis Ten Bosch. Check-in was very detailed- Chan , Hong Konger spoke well and explained everything to us in details on the use of the hotel and facility. The room is OLD. there was no air-con - they explained it was centrally controlled so it was extremely stuffy in the room when we checked in at 3pm cos the west sun is shining in. They sent a fan up so thank GOD for that. lucky our stay here was just a night. Don't think i wi llcome back to this hotel again if i was to visit. time to renovate and do some refurbishments. Bfast was good though! the hotel also has a bus to take you to an onsen nearby and it's free. Pls use it.

::Old but comfortable hotel along the water’s edge, located within the Huis Ten Bosch village. Walk southwards from the main HTB sites through Harbor Town, and you’ll find the hotel just past Red Lobster. The hotel is fairly old. Two restaurants/cafes. Rooms comfortable and full of amenities. Parking situation is a bit strange, with free parking available at the welcome entrance carpark to HTB, which is pretty far. Then, you have to take a shuttle to the hotel, which comes every 20 minutes.

::One of the better price hotels during the weekdays. Very lovely location and views from the hotel. The staff was very professional and helpful. The food prices though at the local eateries are a little bit expensive as well as the convenient stores. Difficult getting to and from the hotel, if you have family members that want to pick you up as a sign at entrance says that the place is off-limits to vehicles other than authorized personnel. The room was nice with a lot of complimentary amenities. The building facilities, Self does need some paint touchups on some high traffic area doors, etc.

::Found insects in the room, spiders and ants on different days. The location is lovely, the room is a bit outdated. If you're a foreigner I'd suggest you find another hotel near by. My family lives in Sasebo so they would pick us up and drop us off at the hotel each night. Apparently it was a problem and we didn't understand why. They would direct us to the parking area every time, but we were just dropping off people. Finally we figured out that you need to take a shuttle to the hotel from the taxi/ bus area. If that was explained to us via translator on a phone or something we wouldn't have to endure the issues we had. And finally the most disrespectful encounter I had to face, we were trying to go to the hotel at night (before we knew about the shuttle) to drop off our family members and the gate guard refused to let us in, we didn't have a problem the day before. We're not sure why this man was screaming at us tapping on our window, this gate guard was literally yelling and was so disrespectful! He was entirely too aggressive, he continued to shout. The younger kids were scared and he upset everyone in the car. We couldn't leave, we didn't know how to enter the free side of the park to get to the hotel. He just kept shout BACK BACK. After 15 mins of this horrible encounter the gate guard finally handed us a small piece of paper stating how to enter. NOW EXPLAIN TO ME WHY HE DIDN'T JUST HAND US THIS PAPER TO BEGIN WITH?? Horrible experience!
