::I visited the hospital several times due to traffic accident injuries and then transferred to another hospital. In short, everything is over. For now, I would like them to start by improving the coordination between staff and the looseness of handovers. It's better not to go here, it will only make things worse.

::I wonder if there are any other hospitals where the people are so welcoming. Because the building is new, everything felt comfortable, and the examination leading up to admission was streamlined and the surgery went smoothly. This was my first surgery in my life, and everyone from my doctor, Dr. Nagamine, nutritionist, nurses, and nursing assistants was kind and thorough. Thank you very much for your help. I hope all hospitals will follow this example. thank you very much.

::I haven't been inside the new hospital yet, but it's much better than the old hospital. There is a multi-story parking lot right in front of the hospital, making it convenient. The location is in Maeda, Urasoe City, so it's a bit of a walk from Urasoe Maeda Station, but it's close to the station.

::While visiting Okinawa as a tourist l had a medical emergency and went to this hospital. Not being able to speak Japanese myself the help and service we got was outstanding. In a few hours a doctor examined me twice with the help of a online medical translator, my blood work was done an l got a echo and CT scan. With a excellent diagnosis and a affordable bill we left the hospital with gratitude. Thank you again!

::I’m an Australian living in Japan since 2003. This is just a summary of my experience at this hospital. *I hope I do not sound like a thug just looking for money, so please excuse me. My pain is real and it’s years of physical and mental suffering (me and my family). *We opened a malpractice case case against this hospital in 2013. In addition to a lengthy report in which my wife monitored my entire hospital stay, (she graduated in the medical field in Australia, she is Okinawan) I paid ¥500,000 to a medical malpractice specialist from mainland Japan who established 100% negligence. After an ACL tare *Bacteria was on the graft screw they installed inside (behind kneecap) my knee. The main doctor Shimakawa (now living in Arab Emirates) admitted there was bacteria on the graft screw to cause infection, if my wife didn’t hint to them that my blood had not been monitored I could have died or lost my leg. There was more than enough evidence that they made numerous mistakes however the local Naha court found them not guilty. *I was in my early 30's and was told that I might need a cane after this. I was told that there was a possibility of an amputation. *Court was finally held in 2019! This put so much stress on my family if we knew it was so tough in Japan we would not have started to sue. *In Australia (which is well known for its superior medical system worldwide) such negligence would pay minimum of about $400.000 Australian dollars (¥33.300.000) in a matter of 3-4 months , in Japan over 6 years to get to an actual court appearance. Next time I will write a full story in detail through a professional interpreter. I am trying to not sound like a thug just chasing the money, but they made me suffer and suffer for years plus of course all the medical bills exceed what they offered recently which was ¥1000.000 about $9000 USD , the hospital was found not guilty as the court system for medical cases is designed that way in Japan. They are also not paying out of their own deep pockets but insured anyway!!! 9K !!! This amount of money I would have to pay for some lawyer fees and the specialist's letter, how about my numerous doctor visits and medication fees? Originally they offered to settle at ¥2.500.000 my wife and lawyer declined. The treatment of the elderly there was horrible... (perhaps I will explain in detail next time) This experience cost me 1000 times as much as their offer. if I am given a ¥2,500,000 which they originally offered I may consider it (somewhat) and not write the full article, they have insurance too and for such a large hospital this is a microscopic amount. If not compensated I have approached a local online news website and an Austrian TV channel that is interested in the story. *I won’t change my mind about these butchers and looking forward to share the story internationally. * Thank you for your understanding Urasoe General Hospital... Lets see that you actually care for people!!!
