::We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and was very pleased with the facility and services. Our room had a beautiful balcony looking directly at the iconic red bridges. It is a short walking distance to the Unazuki Onsen station and the Unazuki Station for the scenic Torroko Electric Train. The buffet style breakfast and dinner was delicious with variety of food selections. We highly recommend this hotel.

::Traditional Japanese style hotel, loved the Ibsen and buffet. Clean and quite popular
River Chu
::The most worth hotel in unazuki-onsen area. You can see the red color bridge almost anywhere from the hotel. The food is great, which is including in the room fee.
Tan Chye Hoe
::This is an excellent hotel. We had a wonderful 3 nighst stay. Our room has a very scenic view. Facing the Kurobe river. The buffet dinner is tasty. Onsen is good. There are 2 onsens. At main and anex building. Timing, 5am to 9am and 3pm to 10pm. Location is closed to unazuki station. Thank you to all the staff who are friendily and welcoming. Best wishes

::Pros: Beautiful public and private Onsen, amazing view from the Rotenburo in the public one. The room was large, well equipped and clean, riverside view was gorgeous including seeing the Kurobe Gorge train pass the bridge. Staff was very friendly. The dinner and breakfast buffets exceeded our expectations with a huge variety of delicious foods to choose from. Cons: Pillow and futon were pretty thin, making sleeping on the Tatami a bit hard. The tiramisu at the dinner buffet sadly was perished. Everything else was very tasty though. My main criticism is that during check-in I had to sign a form that included me agreeing to receiving advertisements from 3rd party partners of the Ryokan. My fiancée, who is Japanese, asked about this and was told this is standard and has to be signed by all EU guests, but allegedly they wouldn’t send out any advertisements anymore. So why is it still required to sign this document? I find this pretty shady as I’ve stayed in various hotels and Ryokan all across Japan, but have never experienced this before. Highly questionable tactics regarding data privacy!
