::This restaurant is WONDERFUL. The staff is so welcoming, so friendly, and so beautiful! My host called the restaurant to check if I could dine in because it was so close to closing time and they were extremely nice and started preparing my meal as I was walking! The eel was delicious, it was truly incredible. Even if you have never eaten eel before it is worth coming here for your first time because it is better than you could imagine. This was hands down the best meal I have had my whole time Japan. I could not have been a less elegant customer (I had no idea how to eat eel with chopsticks, even now) and still I was welcomed in and served wonderful food. I never write reviews, but I wanted to express how appreciative I am of the experience I had here. It was more than worth the slightly hefty bill.

::I went to Toyokawa-san for the first time in a while! ! I definitely want to eat Toyokawa eel this summer. I called 2 weeks before the reservation and was finally able to connect and make the reservation! It seems like you can enter even if you don't have a reservation if the timing is right (^^) I ordered the eel set meal, which came with Uzaku, umaki, and eel liver soup for 6,000 yen! ! Toyokawa-san’s eel jus after a long time♡ The skin was crispy and the meat was fluffy and really delicious! ! Both rice and sauce are delicious. It has an elegant finish that is neither annoying nor too sour. There are also a lot of eels. The Umaki is so fluffy and perfect! ! After all, the eel is Toyokawa-san!

::Yesterday, I visited you for the first time in a while. It's definitely delicious! That's one word (^^) Beer, unagi zaku, unagi rolls, grilled liver, and shirayaki with sake! And I was very satisfied with the eel jus as a finale. I really appreciate the consideration of the manager and staff, such as sharing the eel with my elderly mother.m(_ _)m Although the price is not cheap, I think it is good for occasional luxury! I only come here a few times a year, but I'll come back to eat there again (^^) If you definitely want to eat it, you need to make a reservation!

::First visit in 2 years. I made a reservation for lunch on a weekday. As expected, it's a popular restaurant, and it's difficult to order even on weekdays without a reservation (⊙᎑⊙)! that? When I arrived in June 2022, the liver sucking that was included was a separate charge! Even though it wasn't liver sucking, I thought it would come with some kind of soup, but it didn't! I wish it came with some sort of soup since it's a soup here. However, eel is extremely delicious! ! ! The skin is crispy ♪ The meat is fluffy ♪ The rice is evenly coated with sauce and goes perfectly with the eel ☆ My mouth is full of happiness ♡ Most of the staff are young, but they are polite and kind, which is amazing. That's what I thought. Although it is near the station, if you are driving, there is a parking lot nearby for 300 yen for 60 minutes. Reservations are required (^ ^ )/

::An unexpected outstanding meal experience in Japan, and I dare to say it is the best eel set I have ever had. The chef and staff are very friendly and try their very best to answer questions on eel and meal to you. They excel the eel cooking skill and the meal set, the rice is well mixed with brilliant soy source and just bring the set to a whole new standard.
