This restaurant is run by chef Masahiko Hayashi, who in 1991 became the first Japanese to win the Coupe du Monde Patisserie, which is said to be the world's best and is held every two years in Lyon. The store has long been loved by the people of Nara Prefecture, and has remained in its hometown of Nara, refusing numerous offers to open a store from all over the country, based on its motto of ``where you can see it.'' When I nervously opened the door and entered the store, I was greeted by smiling and cheerful staff. I was relieved that the service was friendlier and more pleasant than I had imagined. The store is lined with Western sweets that are fun to look at and look like works of art. Take out the standard popular POP ``Eclatin'' and the seasonal POP ``Noir Manto''. It was my first time visiting the store, so I was grateful for this kind of POP. From start to finish, I was also interested in the staff's support, which is befitting a famous store. The orange paper bags for takeout are also cute. ``Eclatin'' is a refreshing cake made by combining orange and white wine scented mousse with orange jelly, and ``Noir Mante'' is a refreshing combination of fresh mint mousse and chocolate mousse. After looking at the cake for a while, which is like a work of art that would be a waste to eat, you will be amazed not only by its appearance, but also by the balance and harmony of sweetness and sourness.The taste is beyond words. ::[Very satisfied with the customer service and taste! ] A cake shop located 2 minutes walk from Yamato Saidaiji Station. A popular Tabelog 100 Famous Store! When I visited around 2pm on the weekend, the cafe seats were empty, so this might be my target. There are delicious-looking cakes lined up in the showcase, and I'm having a hard time deciding what to order. I asked the staff and ordered the most popular chocolate cake, ``Ambroisie,'' and since I wanted to try something other than chocolate, I also ordered ``Cream Puff.'' Also, I was interested in baked goods, so I also tried ``Amand''. I'm really looking forward to eating this beautiful cake that looks like a jewel! (╹◡╹) Ambroisie is a rich bitter chocolate on the outside, but the inside is pistachio mousse and berry jam, making it cleaner and more delicious than you might think! Although it had a rich texture, it had a refreshing finish, and I thought that the pastry chef had put a lot of thought into making it delicious and enjoyable until the end. Cream puffs are characterized by their plump creaminess. Despite being busy at a popular restaurant, I was able to take the ice pack home with me without any problems, even in the summer, thanks to her politely informing me about the ice packs I would be taking home. They also secured the bottom of each cake bowl with tape to prevent the cake from falling apart. It's a small consideration, but I could tell that they care about the customers and the cake.
