The Japanese-style room is reminiscent of an old-fashioned hot spring inn. There is no longer a restaurant, but there is a Kotoden station and there are shops within walking distance, and if you have your own car you can go shopping, so it is still possible to enjoy the accommodation and enjoy the attached facilities such as the pool and skating.

My family stayed 2 nights. We booked and paid for a Japanese style room for 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids, age 10 & 12), but they gave us 3 beds and 3 towels only. So we squeezed for the 1st night in 3 beds. Second day, we requested them to change us to a bigger room, but they ended up opened 4 beds on the floor in the same room. With 2 large suitcases, we can't even walk inside the room. The hotel was not full, in fact I saw only very few people. But the hotel staffs insisted our booking was for 3pp even we showed them our booking record stating for 4pp. We are very unsatisfied with the service! Public bath is very basic and old, not even provide water. Location is far from the city attractions and no convenience store around. I won't recommend and will not come again!!

The room was very spacious and perfectly clean. The hotel is a bit old but well kept! The location is a bit out of the city so it is very quiet and peaceful. There was a big outdoor pool but it was rather shallow, good for kids. We enjoyed it however and it was cheap for guests, only 500yen. Overall, good experience :)

Very dated and a bit run down. Dinner was excellent though and the onsen is quite good. Good service as well.
