  The room seemed clean until I went into the bathroom. I found hair that was not mine in the shower. When taking a bath I noticed a layer of soap scum along the edge of the bathtub ledge. it's clear the bathroom was not cleaned well if at all since the last time it was occupied. The bed is hard, it seems the same hardness as the floor. It was not comfortable. It was also annoying to have to go to the lobby to use the microwave. There is only one in the entirety of the hotel which seems ridiculous. The breakfast is not great either. Very lackluster. I've been to cheaper hotels that serve a much better breakfast. Overall a letdown.

  Booked this hotel for 4 nights via expedia. The check in was seamless, just using your passport details to look up for your booking and the key to your room pops out. Location is excellent, took me like less than 5mins to reach to my hotel coming out from the JR train station. JR shuttle buses and public bus are just in between my hotel and the train station. As for the room, i have no issue. Slept through the night nicely as well. Wifi was smooth too. I definitely appreciate the free breakfast as i was going some places in the early morning, this fills up my stomach before i head off to my location. I don't think i have any bad feedback as this hotel meets my simple needs during my stay.

  It was an excellent place to stay in Aomori. Just a short walk about 2 minutes from the train and bus station. I stayed for 3 nights, and breakfast menu changed daily. All dishes were delectable, and I was amazed the fish tempura they served, had no fishy taste at all. Warm senbei-jiru was served in Autumn, and it was a good choice in cold autumn morning.

  The Stay Toyoko Inn Aomori Ekimae is located close by Aomori Station (you can see it from outside the station). It is a very close walk from the station. Compared to most of the other similar hotel I stayed at in this price range, I prefer this one the most. Most likely due to the better lighting. Most rooms in the hotel (especially ones in upper floor) have nice natural lighting. This provide a more enjoyable experience. The particular room they provide me also had a nice view of the bridge, which is a plus. The room itself is nice and clean. It came with most of the essential amenities, but don't expect fanciness. They also provide free breakfast if you desire. All in all, it was a good experience. The Miscellaneous The hotel is located in a good location with various shops nearby. There is a Lovina shopping mall and the Nebuta Museum in close proximity. There are various restaurants and convenient stores. But if you are looking for something more touristy, you might have to go out of the way a bit. They have automatic check in via kiosks. But in case they do not work, the staffs are very sincere and helpful in resolving the issue.

  The staff were friendly and there is a little separate room to store luggage in the lobby (which is kept locked) where I was able to keep my suitcase since I arrived a few hours early before check in. The room was on the smaller side but there is enough room under the bed to keep the suitcase so I wasn't cramped. The hotel is located close to the aomori train station so it is easily accessible. There is also a family mart and restaurants close by. There was a free breakfast included but don't expect a huge variety of food (the food available was a lot less compared to the same hotel in Sapporo). The food was free so you can't complain about it. The stay was good with nothing that I can complain about.
