  Great location. Walkable from Shin Okubo or Okubo station. Can even walk to Shinjuku for 15 minutes walk. Easy check in and check out. You have to leave the room key when you are going out as they said only have one key. Located at second floor. Have to take stairs manually for one level. Might be a bit difficult for big family with a lot of luggages, handicap, or family with baby. Room quite big but the bathroom is very small.

  My wife and I stayed at Tokyo Plaza Hotel between 3.4.2018 until 5.4.2018. My review of this hotel is as follows:- 1. The location is strategic as it is close to the Shin Okubo station. There are plenty of eateries near the hotel and the area is buzzing with activity. You can take the Yamanote line to get to hot areas like Harajuku, Shibuya, Meiji Jingu and Shinjuku. 2. The room is clean and comfortable. For some reason, we couldn't open the window which can lead the room to be stuffy if you dont turn on the air conditioner. 3. The staff's attitude is fine and they take the pain to explain some of the policies of the hotel. 4. The first setback would be that the hotel seems to try to monetise everything. Check out time is at 10am (which is rather early) and a late check out per hour is chargeable at Y1,000. You can leave your bags there after check out but only up until 3.00pm where additional hours are chargeable at Y1,000. 5. The second setback is that go to the lobby of the hotel, you will need to use the stairs and there are no elevators to get to the lobby. This would be painful for those with heavy bags. Overall, it was a pleasant stay at this hotel. I do hope that they might re-think on item (4) above and find a solution for item (5) above.

  staff were nice and helpful able to leave luggage(in lobby) until 3pm day of check out double bed room very small (in comparison to western standards) hardly any room to open luggage staircase right at the entrance have to lug your suitcase up a lot of stairs free wifi in each room very close to shin okubo station lots of shops and restaurants nearby in walking distance, also convenience store and drugstore very close.

  Really enjoyed my stay here! Comfortable and they have vending machine on 6th floor. Super accommodating.

  Budget hotel, not much frills but in a very convenient location. Need to climb a stair before reaching lobby (on the 2nd floor). Staff are helpful & accommodating.
