Landhaus Idyll
::Nice old hotel near the train station. Eventhough the room is a bit old, we liked it. The beds are big, the room is big, the bathroom is new, there's a fridge, a water kettle, tea and a lot of glasses. We also liked how old school it is, like we have to use the key (a real key!) to turn on the electricity on the wall. It feels like we are turning on an engine of the car 😁👍🏼 breakfast was ok, very japanese and they have the best oranges here in Ehime! Try it, so sweet! Staff were also friendly.

::Nice hotel, the rooms are quie spacious and location is great. Comes with free onsen that is just across the road.

::- Convenient, right next to Matsuyama train station, walking distance to Matsuyama Castle, easily access Dogo Onsen Hot-spring by tram - Friendly staff - Many restaurants nearby. The Indian restaurant across the street was delicious. Convenience store located next to the hotel. - Close to tram station so can hear the noisy tram and car sounds (I was on the 2nd floor) - The switch to turn off the main room light is not on the wall or near the bed. It’s controlled by a remote control.

::It’s very convenient if using the JR Matsuyama station.. but the need to use the key for your in room power and then having to remove the key every time you wanna go out from the room is (in Japanese very mendokusai).. that’s why I only gave 1 star rating.

::Staff was very polite and helpful. The included breakfast was good and started early enough(6:40 am). Rooms were pretty old but is overall an acceptable experience.
