::I wanted to eat natto dishes and came here as a result of a search near Mito Station. It's about a 5 minute walk from the station. The two locations, the basement and the 2nd floor, were close together. I liked the fried natto stuffed with shiso, but it was my first time eating monkfish and I wasn't particularly impressed. As for the sake-steamed clams, no matter how you looked at them, they were clams...😅😅

::Visited on Saturday around 4pm. As expected, the seats were empty. With an extensive natto menu, you can enjoy Ibaraki's specialties while still having the atmosphere of a popular izakaya. It was a very nice shop.

::At Tenmasa's two underground stores in front of the station, you can enjoy sticky bowls, fried monkfish, and a bowl of raw fish. Although it was a Sunday evening, the place was crowded with tourists and families with their children. Next time, I would like to try monkfish hotpot in the cold season.
