  The food is delicious mountain cuisine. Unfortunately, the room and bathroom were small. The employees are great though.

  I was very satisfied with the bath food. It was quiet and the bed in the room was perfect so I was able to get a good rest. In the room with artwork, unique pieces that made you smile were on display. I would like to stay there in different seasons.

  It's small and has the atmosphere of a Showa-era guesthouse, but it's connected to a lodging site, and it was a wonderfully hospitable inn that didn't disappoint. The fun of staying at an inn is not only the food and hot springs, but also the decorations such as the furniture. The cute atmosphere combined with the small inn gave it a nice atmosphere. In addition, we were able to enjoy the beautiful autumn leaves on the uphill slope from the station to Yamabato (December 2018).

  It was a quiet inn in the mountains. It's not very spacious, but that's a good thing. The beef was really delicious. I asked for a draft beer, but please be a little more polite. People who don't drink may not understand it, but it's quite important. There were more than half of the bubbles😵💧 The bath is not large, but it feels just right. I wonder if it's suitable for people these days to make a reservation before entering. By the way, I wonder why water tastes so good.

  I used the artist room (Atsuko Yamagata) as a birthday present for a friend. Yamagata's works are displayed throughout the room. Some things look different depending on the light, and it's interesting to see how their faces look different at night and during the day. For dinner, we enjoyed grilling a variety of Gunma meats and local fresh vegetables in the hearth. I'm also happy to see Ginhikari sashimi available. The food was plentiful and my stomach was full and I felt very happy. There are three hot springs, each of which can be reserved in advance for private use, or you can use them in your free time. It's also nice to be able to check if it's currently being used without having to go to the bathroom. Although it is far from the center of Shima Onsen, you can be satisfied even if you spend a day here. I recommend it to those who like hot springs and art. In addition, there is another kind of artist room, so I would like to use that as well.
