  I stayed in an Airbnb near this area and it is very safe to navigate for a solo female traveller like myself. The streets around are full of shops and you can spend a few evenings just wandering around after dinner. There is a Big Box shopping mall right beside the station but not much to do there other than a 100-yen shop.

  Clean and easy to navigate. Practical to change trains in hurry or with s coffee break while waiting for next train.

  Busy station as always. In front of this station you can take photos with Astroboy Mural / Graffiti and don’t forget to try one of the Ramen Shop near there. Tasty and flavorful Ramen 🍜.

  Old-fashioned JR station with many no chain shops nearby.
