  A great station- upon exiting one finds many shops, Malls n the famous Nakano Broadway. The latter is famous for collection/shops of anime/manga figurines and paraphernalia. The area has a shopping alleyway yokocho which has many individual shops selling items at reasonable prices. This area is also famous for many shops who trade in branded vintage watches n timepieces - Rolex, Hublot, Panerai, Patek Philippe etc- one of the more renowned shops being Jack Road. There’s also wonderful food n snacks everywhere. All these activities being just within the surrounding area of Nakano Station- just a stone’s throw away. A lively atmosphere for shopping, eating n discovering some special unique hobbyist shops!! Highly recommended.

  Most people are reviewing this train station as if it was the shopping centre. The train station is not wheelchair accessible unless you ask for assistance from the station staff who will bring you down the escalator.

  So many good memories of this place---shopping, eating, meeting up with friends. Really lively and accessible area!
