Title: Disappointing Stay at Tabist THE GREEN ASAHIKAWA We recently stayed at Tabist THE GREEN ASAHIKAWA from December 15 to 17, 2023, booking a Japanese Style Room for 5 people with a shared bathroom. While the hotel offered some conveniences, it left much to be desired, making it challenging to recommend for families or those seeking a comfortable and secure stay. Pros: 1. **Convenient Location:** One positive aspect of Tabist THE GREEN ASAHIKAWA is its location, with Pizza Hut, a coin laundry, and a 7-11 within walking distance. This was convenient for grabbing a quick meal or taking care of necessities. 2. **Paid Parking:** The availability of paid parking within the hotel was a plus, providing a secure option for guests with vehicles. Cons: 1. **Cramped Quarters:** The Japanese Style Room for 5 people proved to be too small, especially when accommodating four individuals with five 28" luggages. The lack of space significantly impacted the comfort of our stay. 2. **Shared Bathroom and Toilet:** Unfortunately, we overlooked the fact that the room came with shared bathroom facilities. We were taken aback to find that the room came with shared bathroom facilities. While this may be acceptable for some travelers, the inconvenience was amplified by the fact that the experience was notably different for women and children, particularly during nighttime visits to the toilet. Inconvenience for Women: The shared facilities presented a challenge for female guests, especially during late-night bathroom visits. The lack of a dedicated restroom for ladies meant navigating through common areas, which felt uncomfortable and compromised privacy. Concerns for Children: Families with children faced a similar dilemma. Escorting children to the shared facilities in the middle of the night was not only inconvenient but also raised safety concerns, especially in a hotel that already appeared to have security issues. 3. **Poor Soundproofing:** One of the major drawbacks was the lack of soundproofing. We could hear conversations from the next room as well as streetcar sounds, making it challenging to rest or sleep peacefully. 4. **Privacy Concerns:** The room only had two pieces of window blind, leaving gaps in between. This lack of privacy made us feel exposed, as people could potentially see into our room from the outside. 5. **Lack of Night Light:** Surprisingly, there was no night light in the room. This made navigating the space at night difficult and contributed to a general sense of discomfort. 6. **Security Issues:** Tabist THE GREEN ASAHIKAWA appeared to be a run-down hotel in terms of security. This factor, coupled with the aforementioned privacy concerns, did not provide the assurance of safety that one would expect from a hotel. In conclusion, we cannot recommend Tabist THE GREEN ASAHIKAWA for families with a significant amount of luggage or for those who prioritize a secure and comfortable stay. The cramped space, shared facilities, poor soundproofing, and security issues significantly detracted from our overall experience. If you are looking for a hotel that ensures a sense of safety and comfort, we advise exploring alternative options in the area.

    - hotel has all basic need complimentary things - walked from the station around 10 - 15 minutes - we arrived to hotel with early check in requesting, we wanted to leave our luggage there but no reception there. It has note that open 10 a.m. so we have to go back to station to find deposit box. - we back check in again evening, no reception again so we rang the bell many time and wait 7 minutes so he comes.
