Housing loan city bank examination If you want to call yourself a ``quiet residential area,'' you need at least ``most of the area to be inspected by city banks.''

This bank is located in a very convenient location in the Otemachi area. I have never used either the high or low counter, but the bank employee who is in charge has a wealth of knowledge and experience, so I can feel at ease. Trust banks may be a little more difficult to get into than regular banks, but if they match your needs, it's best to use them without hesitation. Establishing a trust on your own requires considerable effort and cost, and it is also quite difficult to operate the trust. As a side note, many people may know that Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank (SMTB) is a different group from Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC). I think it would be less confusing if I called it by its abbreviation. The SMBC affiliated trust bank is SMBC Trust Bank (apparently the trust bank was a bank centered on the retail division of the former Citibank). Now, the head office sales department of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank has the feel of a head office (flagship store), so it's almost intimidating to just walk in. The interior of the store has quite high ceilings, is spacious, and has a luxurious interior. It's too harsh to compare with other branches of the bank, but the appearance of the store as a box is incomparable. Isn't the quality of service at both branches quite high? I think. It seems like most people who use the SMTB main store sales department make reservations, but they can probably accommodate you even without a reservation (although there may be some waiting time). (Addendum 1) After that, I sometimes used a low counter, so I will add a little bit. I contacted the person in charge of the low counter and made a reservation. When I arrived a little before the scheduled time, I had to wait for a while while the tea was prepared. Shortly after, I started the procedure at the law counter, but all the necessary documents were prepared, and although the procedure was somewhat complicated, it was completed fairly smoothly (although it still took quite a while). However). We were able to receive appropriate notification via email regarding the status of the procedure, so we were able to return home with peace of mind. By the way, when I asked the sales department of this main store that they also have a safe deposit box, I was surprised to find that the charges for using the safe deposit box were so low that I couldn't believe it was in Otemachi. I feel that Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank offers safe deposit boxes at a much lower price than the safe deposit box usage fees of other city banks, and I hear that there are further discounts on usage fees if you deposit more than a certain amount. (However, there is a minimum deposit amount, so if you are considering using it, please consult with the counter). By the way, this safe deposit box is semi-automatic and the business hours are the same as bank counters (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on weekdays). (Addendum 2) I feel that once you have someone in charge (a person in charge of regular operations and a financial consultant called Zaikon), it becomes much easier to use. I have a lot of follow-up, and if there is anything I need to do, I just call or email and they will think about it together. (Addendum 3) Most procedures can be completed at other branches, but there are some cases that only the head office sales department can understand, so if you are unable to complete the procedure at another branch due to time constraints, please contact your representative in advance. That's fine. In addition, I think that the procedures and responses at other branches are the same at other banks, but since there is a record of the responses, there may be a separate follow-up from your own person in charge regarding what was done at other branches. There is also. This area feels pretty solid. (Addendum 4) There are three automated teller machines (ATMs) installed. I don't really get the impression that it's crowded and you have to wait a long time.
