::Nice staff. Clean tables. There was a man who smoked his cigarette inside. Ruined our break but was funny to see no one stopped him until we told the staff.

::Walked to this Starbucks for a break after spending a long morning at Kenrokuen and Gyokusen-inmaru Garden. It was a regular weekday when I visited, around 10am. It's not very crowded, and I managed to snag a seat along the front glass windows facing the road. Enjoyed my snack and coffee there, as it's very quiet and peaceful.

::Went for the free WiFi and the outdoor seating. It a bit noisy along the main road but nice for people watching. Enjoyed catching up on some work before heading off to enjoy the city.
