The customer service was polite and attentive from beginning to end, saying things like "I'm sorry to have kept you waiting." I used to think that ordinary depositors were nothing more than insects at megabanks, but now I have a slightly better impression of them.

  When I went to the counter today to complete the procedure, my documents were incomplete and I was treated coldly.When I asked questions, the veteran woman at the counter did not even look me in the eye and said, ``It's incorrect, so we can't accept it!'' and threw my documents back at me.   It is the only city bank in Shimonoseki City. Customer service is so thorough and kind that if you go to Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, you won't be able to go to any other bank. Recently, the number of ATMs has been reduced from 3 to 2, so it can get a bit crowded. Still, I'm satisfied. I don't feel like going to another bank or post office.
