::I wish I took better pictures of this hotel. From getting the bus they were picking us up from Kawaguchi-ko station, their service was wonderful. I was so impressed! Kumiko san helped us filling foot bath in our room, serving at the dinner, she was so helpful and friendly. The room was clean, big and the view of Mt. Fuji was amazing if it’s sunny. Dinner was delicious and it’s a lot! We couldn’t eat all. Breakfast was also great. So many to try. We had amazing stay! Highly recommended

::We stayed here for 1 night and it was amazing! We stayed in the traditional tatami room with 6 people and it was amazing. The food was great (both breakfast and dinner) and the onsen was amazing!!

::Fantastic hotel located right on the lake and has magnificent unobstructed view of the Fuji-san. The service was impeccable, hotel offers free pick ups and drop offs from the train station, and shuttle service for the surrounding area upon request. We had an unforgettable time and cannot wait to be back.

::Stayed here for 3 nights and everything is great! Our dinner manager Yu is friendly and accommodating. Every staff at the hotel is friendly and the breakfast and dinner are both delicious. The best part is the view from our room. And the onsen is very relaxing. Definitely will come back!

::This is a traditional Japanese ryokan, where you sleep on tatami floor and served dinner in your room sitting on the floor. The location has excellent view of the lake and Mt Fuji, which is the main reason we stayed here. The room is very clean with all amenities, but the mat is a bit thin to sleep on the floor. We have stayed at other ryokans before and had much better sleeps at other places. Dinner is served well, food is very good, but we felt a bit rushed. The gift shop is very nice, where you could buy nice high quality souvenirs. The onsen bath has both inside and outdoor pools, and very enjoyable. But our absolute favorite is the garden with beautiful pine trees, foot bath and very nice sitting platforms that allow direct access to the water's edge. Right in front of the foot bath is a good size pond that reflects Mt Fuji perfectly on a calm day. The beautifully trimmed Japanese pines together with Mt Fuji's reflection offered a breathtaking view. We love the setup and ambiance of this place, and would have provided 5-star rating, except for a very bad and disappointing experience at the breakfast restaurant. The food is good, but the service is poor. We were sat at a corner tiny table which is part of the lounge, and not the dining area, when there are plenty of tables with excellent views. We were too excited with the morning walk in the garden and did not notice we were mistreated to a poorly located table until we had already settled down. We respected the etiquette of the Japanese restaurants and finished our breakfast at this table, but our whole experience was tarnished. I talked to the restaurant manager who did this to us. She apologized, but rather unsincerely. Very unfortunate, but we would not return to this place.
