Excellent hotel! Most convenient location, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, lovely room, and great customer service. When I arrived home I realised I left my shirt at the hotel. They kindly shipped the shirt back to me. They also kept our luggage and gave us a luggage number so we could leave our bags for a bit.

Positive thing about this hotel is their location, near the train station; like a 2 minutes walk only. Other than that, wished they staff more Reception employees in attendance at the check-in counters, and that they have a better command of English (compared to other Japanese Marriot brand hotels). The check-in was a rather long wait (see pic attached), the lounge selection of food was mediocre. Disappointed with no early check-in (was there at 1.40pm) but only after 3pm; and no late check-out granted because I was told the "hotel being fully occupied". Nice big room, amenities highly satisfactory, views from the room, excellent! Happy that they upgraded me as I am a Platinum Elite Member (nice service recovery!)

Great spot for staying in Hiroshima, right next to the station. The hotel has great breakfast (3000 yen per person). Great views and amazing sized deluxe corner rooms. Would definitely recommend if you like a bit more space than the usual Japanese hotel rooms.

Super convenient location- attached to the Hiroshima station. Very easy to catch buses and train. Also station has multiple dining options and shopping. Hotel was nice, modern and clean. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast buffet was good with lots of options. I don’t know how decided the open concept bathroom in the room was a good option; but this is one of the worst laid out bathrooms I have ever seen in a hotel. The toilet room was so small, it was difficult to shut the door once inside without hitting your legs. There was no real partition between the room and the shower, just an island counter with sink and mirror. This creates a potentiality awkward situation for showering if you are with a coworker, friend, or even family member. Unless you wanted to stop down in the shower you have to do it in the partially open area between the sink and the shower and same with getting out of the shower. Gave the room an 3, only because the bathroom layout was so undesirable. Overall very nice hotel, and we enjoyed our stay.

We had a good stay at Sheraton Hiroshima. Their location can’t be beat—it’s directly linked to the Hiroshima train station, which makes it easy to walk to. We were given a small bouquet of beautifully arranged flowers in celebration of our anniversary, along with bath salts to use in the room, which we gratefully appreciate. The staff were nice and polite. Our Double Bed Club Lounge room that we were upgraded to as a Platinum Elite member (on their highest 21st floor) was spacious. In fact, because the double beds were pushed together, it was comically wide but I’m not complaining. I really enjoyed the deep bathtub and the interesting layout of the shower room, which has drains right below the bathtub. While I wish the toilet seat was heated, it doesn’t detract from our experience. They do have a humidifier that was already in the room, which was new to me, and definitely much appreciated. The breakfast buffet at Bridges was delicious and varied, with both Japanese/Asian and Western options, and fresh orange juice squeezed through their impressive orange machine. They also have varied juices such as apple, vegetable, tomato, and kale, along with a smoothie. What was a little disappointing was that they do charge a fee to use their pool and oddly enough, their locker room as well. So if you’d like to use their fitness center (which was free), you’d have to change in your room if you’d like to avoid a fee. I’ve never heard of such a policy before in other hotels of a similar standing. I also wish they had onsen available on-site as well. All in all, I’d probably stay here again due to the sheer convenience of its location. There’s nothing like easily retiring to your hotel after a few long day trips.
