  Arrived at the hotel and they had trouble finding my reservation. I asked for a non smoking room and was put in a smoking room. As an asthmatic, this was just great. My only options were to change rooms twice or change once after suffering two nights of bad air. If I turn on the heat, my room fills up with smoke. So I have to open the window and freeze instead. Awesome. The room itself is small and was not clean. I had to wipe the thick layer of dust on the headboard. The old bed is swaybacked and sinks like crazy once you get in it. The toilet struggles to flush, the bathtub creaks, the fridge barely cools (even in the dead of winter) and the carpet is worn down to nothing. Everything in this hotel is old. Except the nightly rates. Paid nearly $1200 for 4 nights and I'm angrier with myself than this lousy hotel. Save yourself the hassle and the money: stay anywhere else.

  Literally around the corner from a subway exit (#22) and has great service, amenities, view and is very clean. We even had a view of snow outside.

  Very nice hotel very near by Sapporo station Staffs are so friendly and supportive! Rooms are bigger than expected & clean! Breakfast you can choose one among 6 styles! Very recommended!

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful Stay in Sapporo Attentive and professional staff(Front desk and housekeeping). Check in was quick and accommodating. Early check in is upon availability. Rooms were spacious compared to some well know business hotels. View of the city and snow cap mountains. Very quiet and super clean. I did not smell any smoking, like some other business hotels. Twin bed with Medium firmness and nice linen(feels like 300 - 400 count thread). Deep tub with shower head. Strong pressure and hot water. Bath, shampoo and conditioner Soft towels and comfy yukata replaced daily. All toiletries, slippers , except for shaver and no complimentary water. Small desk with small flat screen TV, lamp, tissues box and lots of universal power bar. A/C with heater control Air purifier Small closet with 4 x hangers Always a relaxing stay after a long day of exploring. In the area: Izakaya restaurant inside the hotel. Looks vibrant. AYCD menu. Did not partake. Plenty of shopping centers by JR station.10 min 🚶 Multi level restaurants, bars and shops 5 min 🚶 24 hour convenience store (7/11, Lawson) 2 min🚶 ST train line . 2 min🚶 Nijo Market 15 min🚶 Getting to the hotel from JR station: 10 min🚶: follow signs to ESTA and Stellar Place Exit outside of the Station and walk straight and make a left. Go two blocks and make a left. Walk two blocks and hotel is on the left hand corner. From Under ground station : Exit train. Follow signs to ESTA building. Walk down to the lower level to the “ST” stations . Exit # 21 and walk one block. 15 min🚶 If this review was helpful, please give it a 👍 Happy travels

  Again a perfect stay at the Richmond hotel group, except for my breakfast experience. After staying in many hotels, the breakfast buffet is generally open again at most hotels but not at this location. This was not mentioned upfront booking the breakfast, which cost me ¥1500. A big disappointment, cause the portions are very small and not enough without the salad buffet. You can choose from 4 different set menus when entering the restaurant. For the rest the rooms are clean, spacious and the quality is the same as other locations.
