::The hotel is very clean and modern. I am impressed and very happy with the level of service given by ALL the staff at the hotel. Every single one for the staff was so friendly. Must be a good place to work in. Special thanks must be given to Nakane San working at the reception. He performed way above his duty to help us with our trip to Sentai Hoshikai, a Catholic Monastery. The breakfast (Japanese) needs special mention too. It was really good. To me it puts the buffet breakfast offered by a 5 Star hotel in Tokyo which we recently stayed to shame.

::A little further fm train station. Room is spacious for twin room. Hotel has no swimming pool or gym. However, finding food and suppermarkets are plenty. Quite inexpensive place for this area.

::Richmond is proud of their services provided, from the moment check in to check out, I am all happy with it. The room is also modern and stylish. I was having fever during my stay, I borrowed their thermometer and measure the temperature in the lobby, the staff are helpful and still carrying smile, but they didn't have intention to bring me water and ask if I am ok. I finally get a cup of water in the restaurant and took the pill. that gave me a feeling that the smile on their face is just robotic and I just didnt feel the true warm heart. Overall, it is a very professional hotel in Akita

::We had a wonderful 2 night stay here in Akita. Rooms very clean. Moderate queen non smoking was about 18square metres. Bed comfortable but firm. Good shower pressure. Asked for a quiet room and got one. Having seen breakfast pics wish we had paid for one of them since there was the famous sashimi in a bottle. Very friendly check in. They called a restaurant for us on request. Great location for shinkansen and shopping and convenience stores. Great price too. Would stay again. English is spoken here.
