::Overall excellent hotel and we’d be happy to return again. Good: newly renovated and clean room, quiet, breakfast was great and the hotel lounge wasn’t too crowded. Service was also great! Opportunities to improve: Sleep: The mattress was so hard and only 2 soft pillows (I prefer firmer pillow) Bathroom: Tub with shower. Would have been great to have a walk-in shower, only. The toilet, in particular, was a huge surprise and miss. It’s the original toilet from whenever this hotel was built. What a waste of money for needless water waste.

::Non-smoking room for 1 person was very clean, new and spacious. I enjoyed the shower with strong water pressure. Indoor heating worked well during the cold nights. Breakfast had a good spread that included local specialties (Inaiwa udon and Kritanpo), grilled fish and egg station. Location was close to train station (with covered walkway) and Senshu park. Small area of improvement could be better odour removal from shower curtains.

::friendly staff. quick check in. clean and spacious rooms. complete bathroom equipment and always added after each use close to Akita station and many restaurants near the hotel

::As other comments have mentioned the hotel seems a bit dated but the stay was comfortable. You could see that they've renovated some aspects of the hotel but some parts are left untouched. The room was spacious and the staff very hospitable. Since I wanted to stay at a hotel close to Senshu park it fit my need perfectly.
