::Meal: Lunch Day Visited: Friday Budget: ¥10,000 Closest Station: N/A Reservation Needed?: Yes Payment: Cash; Credit Kid Friendly?: Maybe English Menu?: Yes We made a day of it and drove seven hours (round trip) from Sapporo, primarily to eat lunch at Restaurant Bi.ble. Our seven course lunch was worth the drive! Exceptional locally-grown ingredients expertly prepared and presented. In short, Restaurant Bi.ble is one of the best restaurants we have been to in Hokkaido. You should visit too! Pro tip: If driving from Sapporo take a route avoiding all toll roads. The back roads in this part of Hokkaido are beautiful; a great drive!

::Amazing environment, special experience at the dinner and one-of-a-kind breakfast. A must stay and visit in Biei.

::Came for lunch without reservation and they were kind enough to show us a seat. Food was delicious and executed perfectly, and we particularly enjoyed the consommé and desserts. Location and view were both beautiful. Also packed some croissants which were flaky and buttery. However service could be better, especially from both male waiters.

::Just had a croissant at this restaurant. The front is a bakery and there is a restaurant attached. It was fully booked when we just showed up in the morning so good to make a recommendation. Definitely a nice place to stop for some bread though.

::A very nice restaurant with decent french cuisine. The car parking entrance isn't really obvious but it's right near the school. Staff members are polite and the food is quite decent, the warmer is a bit too much though that we had to go outside to chill once a while. Salads are spun with a cooling bowl, breads are served with a heating stone at the bottom, the food came much quicker than an authentic French bistro :) The only complaint is that our entire group of 5 had to pick the same set because the food came as family-style but are made to be shared easily. The price is very reasonable given the food quality and portion, and the decor and overall impression make you feel comfy.
