::I’d rank Yaen Jiro in top 5 of its chain, or even as Big 4!! The place is notoriously far from any stations, it’s situated in middle of nowhere like other Jiro stores but it’s worth visiting; what Yarn serves is always rewarding and volatility in its quality never happens like Honten!! It’s brutally strong taste that you shouldn’t add soy source if you are newbie here. And to me, Yasai-mashi is also good option since the volume is intimidating at the age of 30…

::I give a two star instead of 1 because the wait was not absurd compared to the one in Minato area. Overall the place was clean and spacious but ramen soup is very salty. Without the bean sprouts or the unseasoned pork it would be impossible to eat without downing all the water. The noodle was nice thick and firm.

::The Shop having very big space and is very unusual in Japan. whereby you have no space to stand and have either wait outside and stand in-front the counter. The portion is huge, I meant is super huge!!! order is small (whereby is written as small) but turn out to be super big bowl of ramen as you cannot see where is the noddle is... you have to dig in and move the veg side then you can see it and start to eat and taste it. The soup is thick and the pork's are huge too for the price of JPY750. many working adult and esp school kids are there to have a cheap and full meals (lunch or dinner) because this is very value for $$$. Noddle wise is chewy and is the fat type noddle type. but there isn't tast of favor there just plain noddle. Soup is thick and is not pork base soup, I felt is salty and I don't taste and だし汁for the soup. Veg is just a big portion of it, nothing special. but it's like if have not been eaten for veg for week, then will be good to take some veg. the portion is good for a week of veg you needed to take. About the Pork, it's huge, soft and fatty too. and is just plaint pork without any favor etc. I will only recommend if you are super hungry then there may be possibility you can finish it. if not I will not advise you go for it. I think is easy to access or get there by train, if you are a traveler from oversea.
