  We had a really pleasant stay here. the best was the friendliness of the staff, the amazing dinner and breakfast, the peace of the location of the hotel and the beautiful onsen. Equipment in the rooms (especially the western style rooms) was not the newest anymore. I recommend to stay in the Japanese style rooms.

  This is in our top 3 favourite ryokans in Japan. Excellent service, beautiful meals and a range of great indoor and outdoor onsens/rotenburo to soak and relax in. The hotel offers a range of room options including having a private onsen attached to the room. Located next to a river which is great for relaxing walks and even fishing, the hotel itself is beautifully laid out with water and flora features. There is evening entertainment in the lobby as well as a gift shop. We've been here multiple times and it is simply bliss.
