::I was weary at first as a foreigner going into the post office for the first time in Japan. Especially with the reviews. I had my Google translate ready for help, I had to purchase 2 boxes and then ship them each off on different days. The staff were very helpful, despite the language barrier we were able to successfully process my transactions. International post boxes you can fill out a form online in English then go into office and scan QR code at the tables. It will print your shipping label. Remember no sunscreen is allowed to be shipped. My tape seemed not too strong so I double tripled it but the lady started ripping some off, I thought she was removing it all together so I attempted to help and asked if my tape is okay, she said it's fine but was making room for shipping label. Then ripped more off for me to write my redirect address. I will update this post once we receive our package back in Canada. Praying everything went well. Try not to be vague on slips as they will ask. They do have a translation machine like the train info staff have, but there was still a lot of back and forth. In the end we managed and they were really kind to me as hesitant and confused as I was.

::Customer service is quite bad. In fact, in my experiences the staff are quite rude so I have avoided this place since March. I suspect they are especially rude towards ethnically looking Asian people who lack a strong command of Japanese. As an Australian(Asian ethnically) the broad market where I ship to are English markets such as US, UK and Australia but there has been occasions where I'm convinced the staff there had suspected me of shipping non-mailable goods to China based on their attitude and conduct. During the covid19 hiatus , I was packing some goods(video game merchandise) for the UK where a staff suddenly yelled at me asking if I was sending face masks to China. When I told them "No, its figurine to the UK" they asked me to hand over the goods for inspection, upon realizing I was obviously telling them the truth they stopped the questioning and skepticism but the blatant suspicion and outright accusation leaves a lot left to be desired.

::They open on the weekends so it’s convenient, but the customer service leaves something to be desired. Maybe it’s just an Osaka thing but they have an insanely strong tendency to use タメ口. Especially the young middle-aged(early-mid 40’s?) guy wearing glasses, he was using タメ口 to everyone. If you have a choice(and don’t mind traveling a bit) you’re probably better off using someplace else. PS: To be fair they weren’t particularly ‘slow’ in their service. And I think I can safely say that as someone who has been to at least 20 post offices in Japan.
