  Extremely friendly and accommodating staff, spacious rooms, great location. I loved the view from the room.

  We love the hotel as it is located very near the Hamamatsu station. The room we stayed in is on the 43rd floor and has a paranomic view of the city. We can see the Pacific ocean from the room. It would be good if the hotel could provide free usage of the gym. If you are a member of okura, you can enjoy the usage of the facilities at half the price.

  Great location and b at to hammamtsu train station and shopping center and quiet and great place and down stairs you have a super market to buy food or so.Also access to museum of arts and I like the breakfast .Also within the same building have the lot of restaurants to try Indian and Japanese etc.

  Okura is one of the great Japanese hotel famous for the “ real customer service “. Now there are more international staffs and giving new 2024 service to every customers. I was big fan of this hotel especially their service is so good. However….. room size is good, the bed is firm and very comfortable but fitness area is not free for guests. It is not even cheap to use. This is very strange. Normally if you stay at the property, fee for the gym and the pool area would be free. And I was little bit surprised the room furniture especially sofa’s textiles are quite aged and getting be faded away. I mean too old for Okura hotel quality. They supposed to have so many customers nowadays but why they don’t update hotel furnitures? Especially the carpet floor was terrible, what kind of people does maintenance the room floor ????? I felt like I was in the one of Mumbai’s 2 star hotel room when I looked at this( in the picture ). Old fashioned room is good only when it is well maintained. Unfortunately Okura in Hamamatsu is NOT good enough anymore. Please do something for the floor carpet ASAP. View from the 42nd floor was GREAT, Hamamatsu city has one castle and you can feel like being Lord when you look down all of town from this hotel. Everything looks small and not a big deal for you anymore. I understand how the conqueror will be so ruthless. So I call the view from this floor is “ the view of ruthless conqueror”.

  Excellent hotel in the heart of Hamamatsu. 5mins walk from the train station and you are greeted by this magnificent lobby with a welcoming reception area. The musically themed decor continues in the various areas of the hotel from elevators to the room. I stayed in a Premium Twin room and it was fantastic, lovely and modern with an exceptionally clean room and bathroom. There is a TV, coffee machine, kettle and fridge for my convenience. The rooms are well stocked with complimentary water, bathroom amenities, and coffee/tea. My room also came with breakfast from which included your standard continental breakfast options, hot food options and Japanese breakfast items. I will admit I'm not sure what the standing price of breakfast is but anything much past ¥2000 and I don't think it's worth it. The quality of the food is acceptable and warm but the range isn't there and I've stayed in cheaper hotels with far better options and although some of the items are from the local area it seems none of the hot items appear to be. The service is impeccable and I cannot say anything bad about the staff they are outstanding, even when dealing with overly obnoxious guests, that were staying the same time I was. When I requested extra items for the room they were very prompt in bringing them and as I was part of the One Harmony program (I would recommend joining) I was also delivered a copy of the days "The Japan Times" to read. Overall this is the best if not one of the best hotels in Hamamatsu, very much worth the stay.
