::A few years ago, I contracted a rare blood cancer, and a doctor at D Medical University asked if I could be hospitalized here. I received a message saying. Although the mortality rate is extremely high, there are almost no people in Japan who are affected by the disease, so no one showed any interest in the disease and I was unable to be hospitalized. As a result, he received some treatment at the original hospital and is still alive. Does that mean medicine is arithmetic? The point is, your life depends on finding a good doctor, regardless of the hospital.

::Past facts about the head of the hepato-biliary-pancreatic internal medicine department here. 🌠It happened at my former workplace, the famous and prestigious ●● Hospital. ⇒You can see how little compassion, sincerity, and sense of responsibility there is for patients. Just looking at the photos on the website makes me feel sick. 🌠Case 1 There was an incident in which an attempt was made to force invasive cancer treatment on a patient who was hospitalized for liver cancer treatment without conducting a physical examination or testing, even though there was an abnormality in the data. Because he did not listen to his subordinate's advice, he asked another staff member for permission to cancel the planned cancer treatment, perform an emergency CT scan, diagnose peritonitis caused by a perforation in the intestinal tract, and administer the diagnosis on the spot. I called the surgeon and had him perform emergency surgery. None of the staff doctors worked, and I, as a resident, managed everything by myself. Even though I was in the position of a resident, in order to fulfill my responsibility as a doctor (my attending physician had moved to the surgical department), I took the first train every day after the surgery to make my rounds, and after finishing my regular work, I went to see the patient. I continued to do my rounds and take care of him, returning home almost every day on the last train, and even saw him off on the day he passed away. The staff doctor didn't do anything during emergency tests, never came in the morning after surgery, and only came in the evening once (plus extra?). Naturally, as a subordinate, I did not receive a single word of gratitude or consideration. It happened in 2005. 🌠Point 1🌠 There were other facts that made me feel a lack of responsibility. It's not a big deal in a hospital where such a person is at the center of authority. I recommend that you find a hospital that is more friendly to patients. 🌠Additional note ~In case 1~ Even now, I clearly remember the patient's name (also in kanji) T.A, and where he pressed to complain of pain. A patient says, ``I trust the doctor because he examines me well, and I am grateful to him.'' ” I also remember being able to draw the voice. At that time, if I had been unable to convince the doctor in charge and had to spend less time running around trying to get permission to cancel the planned cancer treatment and conduct an emergency test, I think I might have been able to save the patient's life. That's a shame. I was able to avoid cancer treatment, but... 🌠Point 2🌠 A doctor who does not understand the pain of others may become a specialist in name only, but he will not be a good doctor or a good doctor.

::Dr. M is in charge of head and neck. It's the worst. Even though we know that patients don't have time, we continue to waste time on examining them. During this time, there was no treatment for cancer. What's more, this announcement is made suddenly during the examination, depriving patients of their hope. If you are planning to visit this department with a referral letter, please avoid visiting on Thursdays. This teacher is in charge of Thursdays, so if you go there on Thursday, you'll win. Avoid it as it will only waste your time. By the way, even though I wasted so much time, I was transferred to another hospital.

::When I was transferred from Hospital G, my mother took care of me in Ward 6A. After being transferred to the hospital due to a tumor on my spinal cord and a white shadow on my lungs, I was scheduled to undergo a test the following week to find out what was wrong with my lungs, but one day before the test, my condition suddenly deteriorated and my oxygen level dropped to the 90s. At that time, strong oxygen was used. The cause is that phlegm has accumulated in the left lung and cannot be expelled by itself, so oxygen cannot be distributed. After about two weeks, I was able to produce phlegm on my own for two days, and my oxygen had returned, so they asked me to move him to a palliative care ward or facility. What about the lung tests you mentioned at the beginning? What about anti-cancer drug treatment? When I talked to the doctor in charge, it became clear that my physical condition had changed since I was transferred, and I couldn't perform any tests or treatment! I did it with. I am sincerely grateful to the 6A head nurse and other nurses for being so kind to my mother-in-law, but I think it would be better if they were a little more observant when talking to patients, such as what the doctor said. Or. In fact, when my mother-in-law first became suddenly ill, she told me in front of him that his condition was 90% stage 4 from lung cancer and had metastasized, and that even when oxygen was restored, he could not be treated or tested. In this day and age, it may be necessary to notify the person in question, but I wish they would be more considerate in how they communicate this information.
